Biomedicina Slovenica in COBISS
The paper describes the creation of the bibliographical collection called Biomedicina Slovenica (BS) and its connection to the COBISS system. BS is a specialised bibliographical collection for the area of biomedicine in the process of development by the Institute of Biomedical Informatics of the Faculty of Medicine in Ljubljana since 1976.

Nove članice in multikulturnost v Evropski uniji
Incorporated inter and multicultural principles in Macedonian legislation represents society’s basic functioning postulates. Republic of Macedonia tends toward integration into European Union’s equal, balanced, qualitative and respectful representation of different cultures and different cultural identities.

Knjižnice s slovenskim gradivom v Italiji
The article gives a short presentation of the libraries with Slovene materials on the territory within which the Slovene community in Italy is historically present. The presentation concerning school, municipal and society libraries is followed by an overview of the activities of the central library of the Slovenes in Italy – the “Narodna in študijska knjižnica” (Slovene National Library of the Studies) in Trieste.

There are 52 Austrian Libraries in 24 European countries. They offer access to library materials and information, promote the German language and organise different events: film evenings, international conferences, literary evenings.
